Watch: MPs vet Gender, Culture and Arts CS nominee Hanna Cheptumo
The Ministry of Gender has been without a CS since the National Assembly Committee on Appointments rejected the nomination of Stella Soi Lang’at in August 2024.
The National Assembly Committee on Appointments is vetting the Gender, Arts and Culture CS nominee Hanna Cheptumo who was nominated by President William Ruto on March 26, 2025.
Cheptumo is the widow of the late Baringo Senator William Cheptumo, who passed away in February while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
